										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="wp-block-paragraph" id="block-f59a9320-335c-4cc1-9d6b-c681bd4c1fef"><br>The <a href="https://up-indices.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">UP World LNG Shipping Index</a>, the world’s only stock index focused on LNG shipping companies, gained 5.17% last week. US stocks represented by the S&amp;P 500 Index rose 2.28%.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph" id="block-ad125942-c015-4d64-b13f-3856faf41d35">LNG shipping stocks represented by their benchmark broke up several resistance levels, and the UP Index is close again to 100 points.<br>Investors in Golar LNG Limited (NASDAQ: GLNG) and Flex LNG Ltd. (NYSE: FLNG) were the most successful. Both companies gained two-digit gains: 12.9% and 10%.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph" id="block-91f202d7-04cc-4e3a-8867-a2927a8ec3b9">New Fortress Energy (NASDAQ: NFE) was very close to a similar increase and missed only one-tenth of the dollar. Nearly 8% to its price added Awilco LNG ASA (OSE: ALNG). Russian PAO Sovcomflot (ME: FLOT) gained 5%.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph" id="block-bbf6fa30-be88-4b7f-9783-0215c9e608f7">Only two of Japanese trio growth. Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (TSE: 9101) and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (TSE: 9104) gained a similar 3.7%. On the other hand, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (TSE: 9107) lost 2.1%, nearly the most significant loss last week.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph" id="block-08b9b021-2815-4770-b2d4-709e64563471">Only Dynagas LNG Partners (NYSE: DLNG) and Höegh LNG Partners (NYSE: HMLP) lost more: 3% resp. 2.5%.</p>

Compared to the start of the index at the end of September 2018, there was a dramatic development especially with Dynagas LNG LP (<a href="http://up-forum.cz/namorni-doprava-lng/dynagas/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">DLNG)</a> and the size of its representation no longer corresponded to the current state. UP indexes + 123 points.</span> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><span id="more-4778"></span></span> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>English comment will be available on seeking Alpha.</strong></span> <span style="font-size: 18.6667px;">Shares of UP-indexes started to grow during Christmas, as well as the rest of the market, even though media doznívaly declines in the best-known shares. But we are still technically in Downtrendu for our shares, and the correction should come after these growths. It is only a breach of the 1-2-3 strategy that can be taken as a technical input signal. Speculative can of course buy/open positions constantly, but it still holds that cash is king. <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The charts show what we&#8217;ve been talking about for several weeks-the index shares are under pressure from the overall market situation. And so when the downturns became to a certain extent unsustainable and there was a growth adjustment, our stock was added. Volumes of course belowed the previous week, but that the Christmas was decent.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Growth was at least partially mitigated by the previous damage, but the values from at least the second December week were not achieved. A certain more pronounced correction is found only preferential shares.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Therefore, if we evaluate the past year, the growth of spot prices, the increase in the transported amount of LNG, the opening of new liquification facilities, or any further advances in the sector are reflected in the prices of shipping companies:</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The graphical view shows the values even better. The UP Total Return index got into the negative, the values are close to those of the years 2016 and the increase in volume is similar to that of December 2015, which heralded later growth.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">There was no pre-Christmas reassuring, on the contrary. The downturns were even more pronounced. DLNG wrote down 17%, GLOP-14.6%, GLOG-13% and HMLP-10%. Volumes were the largest on 20th December and mostly (except HMLP) it was a squeeze in price increases, so the candle graph was formed by long wick.</span></p>

Candle chart show that practically the whole volume <strong>was made after regular hours and it was probably a buybac</strong>k. We can see similar events with <strong>GMLP and GLOP.</strong> Disclaimer: Intraday data come from my broker and actual purchases may have been even higher. But even so, the increase in the volume is still significant.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Volumes</strong> were the most prominent of all the above-mentioned titles, i.e. TGP, GMLP and GLOP, similar in height to GLNG with twice the weekly diameter and HMLP, which was practically threefold in volume. DLNG had an increased volume, but not as previous ones.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Interesting at the end<br />
</strong></span><span style="font-size: 14pt;">I have read discussions and articles on SeekingAlpha and documents published by DLNG in the SEC. I realized my flaps on my eyes, when I automatically assume the same amount of payments for the entire duration of the contract. In particular, the DLNG daily rates are rising:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">2018: 57 142 USD<br />
</span><span style="font-size: 14pt;">2019: 60 370 USD<br />
2020: 62 795 USD</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">These are not significantly different amounts and may be affected by the start and end of contracts. But that we do not know how the internal rules of the contracts apply.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Years ago, on one Czech financial website, in a discussion on the article on Quantum analysis and its perspectives, a substantive remark appeared: &#8220;Just to not mean that they are studying oodles (quantum in Czech) of nonsense.&#8221; On author&#8217;s scorn to hot news we can remember these days, when one of the culprits of steep sales are called algorithmic business models.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">In 50. week continued the decline of all shares included in UP LNG shipping indices, indices dropped by more than 73 points. In addition to the markets cursed DLNG lost mainly GLOP, GLOG, GLNG and HMLP. For GLNG, we must count on the dividend. Prices are starting to get to absurdly low level because the LNG market has begun to decline mostly already during this summer or sooner.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">There was, of course, a break of the support/resist level, but it remains to be repeated that it is the weight of the moment and the negative situation on the whole market, to which the shares in downtrend react naturally more willing. Traded volume is also decreasing, for all titles except GLOG, GLOP and GMLP.</span></p>
