25. července byla vykonána pravidelná čtvrtletní rebalancování UP World LNG Shipping Indexu (UPI).
Během této aktualizace byly do indexu přidány dvě nové společnosti:
ADNOC Logistics & Services plc (Spojené arabské emiráty)
COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. (Čína)
UPI nyní obsahuje 21 veřejně obchodovaných společností a partnerství z celého světa, čímž poskytuje širší pokrytí globálního trhu přepravy LNG. Toto rozšíření odráží rostoucí význam provozovatelů ze Středního východu a Číny a index tak lépe odpovídá skutečné struktuře flotily tankerů pro přepravu LNG.
Po rebalancování se doporučuje prověřit aktualizované váhy všech složek, protože zařazení těchto dvou velkých hráčů pravděpodobně způsobilo posuny v regionálním a odvětvovém zastoupení v rámci indexu.
Regular rebalance and new constituents
On July 25, the regular quarterly rebalance of the UP World LNG Shipping Index (UPI) was completed.
During this update, two new constituents were added to the index:
- ADNOC Logistics & Services plc (United Arab Emirates)
- COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation Co., Ltd. (China)
With these additions, the UPI now tracks 21 publicly listed companies and partnerships from across the globe, providing broader coverage of the global LNG shipping market. This expansion reflects the growing importance of Middle Eastern and Chinese operators and aligns the index more closely with the real structure of the LNG carrier fleet.
Following the rebalance, it is recommended to examine the updated weightings of all constituents, as the inclusion of these two large players likely caused shifts in regional and sectoral representation within the index.
